This policy explains what information The Daily Strategist collects and how it's used. In short: we collect very little, and most of your activity stays on your own device.

Information collected at purchase

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Lemon Squeezy collects the information needed to process payment — such as your name, email address, and billing details — under their own privacy policy. We receive limited order information (such as your email and a license key) to provide you access and support. We do not see or store your full payment-card details.

Information stored on your device

The app is a static website. Your notes, favorites, reading streak, theme preference, unlock status, and license key are stored in your browser's local storage on your device only. This information is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data will remove it.

License validation

When you unlock the full app, your license key is sent to Lemon Squeezy's licensing service to verify it is valid. This is the only time the app contacts an external service with your data.

Analytics and cookies

We do not run our own advertising or third-party analytics tracking on the app. The checkout experience is powered by Lemon Squeezy's scripts, which may set cookies necessary for processing your order. We use browser local storage (described above) to make the app function, not to track you across sites.

How information is used

We do not sell your personal information.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the limited personal information we hold about you (such as your order email) by contacting us. Payment and order records held by Lemon Squeezy are subject to their policy.

Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16.
